Hey! I'm Rook, a Georgia based musician, and I'm incredibly excited to share my love of the drum set with you! I started playing the Snare Drum when I was 11 years old, and quickly became determined to push my way up to a full kit and get on stage.
My goals are to not only help you understand how to play the drumset, but how to cultivate those skills into your own unique playing with a solid foundation!
My lessons will focus mainly on the fundamentals. Rudiments, Cultivating Solid Time, and Limb Independence. With a healthy slice of Learning Songs, How To Read Sheet Music, Recording, and a myriad of other topics that could arise!
I personally listen to and play a lot of Punk, Metal, & Post-Hardcore
